MCP, Law Firm Automation, and Misuse of Cursor/Windsurf
MCP was understandably popular this week, same with the Cursor/Windsurf debacle. Not only did someone tweet about it and get hacked, someone on our subreddit did the same thing.

The code is in the post, and it’s clear what the code does, kudos to this guy
Someone misuses Cursor/Windsurf
Idk if you guys saw the post on twitter about something similar, but someone tweeted about how they were vibe coding and then immediately got vibe checked
Everything in this post makes sense, this guy is right about all the drawbacks, no coherent architecture, AI doesn’t care about your dependencies, and it doesn’t care about good coding practices (think about it, it’s trained on the most available data - you think it’s going to be good???)
